5 Nutrients that must be Met when a Diet Program

We will share how to get the ideal body weight. Ideally weight is the beginning of a healthy lifestyle. However, a lot of people the wrong diet program, so they do not get the most out of their diet do.

Most dieters are women, because there are a lot of women are obese. You need to know, when undergoing a diet program there are several nutrients that have remained unfulfilled. At least, there are 5 nutrients that must be met when a diet program. Here are these nutrients.


  • Calcium, calcium is needed to maintain bone density, it takes at least 1000 mg per day for women of childbearing age, and 1200 mg for women who are menopausal.

  • Vitamin D, Vitamin D is also needed to maintain bone density, it takes 200 IU for women under 50 years, and 400 IU for women who are aged over 51 years, and 600 IU if they are aged over 71 years.

  • Iron, Iron is needed by the body to form red blood cells, it takes at least 15 to 18 mg per day for women, 27 to 30 mg during pregnancy, 9 mg per day while breastfeeding, and between 8 to 10 mg per day after an menopause.

  • Folate, folic acid is needed by the baby, so that must be met by pregnant women. We need at least 400 mcg per day and 600 to 800 mcg during pregnancy and lactation.

  • Vitamin C, Vitamin C must be met by everyone, to at least have to get 75 to 90 mg of vitamin C every day. The content is actually not a lot just because of the food we consume daily is not processed correctly, so often the content of vitamin C in the diet have been damaged before entry into the body.
